Bra Style Guide

Whilst you might have a favourite bra shape or style, our at a glance guide will give you a few more options for your lingerie drawer

Plunge bras
Plunge Bras
This shape is cut much lower at the centre to create a plunging shape, perfect for ensuring your bra is invisible under low cut tops (they often give great cleavage too!)
Full cup bras
Full Cup Bras
These styles come up high in the cup for those who like or need a little extra coverage. The shoulder straps are more centrally placed on your shoulders as they come from the middle of the cups.
Balconette bras
Balconette Bras
The wires on a balconette bra come up mid way between your boobs, and the cups tend to give a rounded shape without coming up too high over your boobs. Balconettes have wide set straps so are great for wearing under wider low necklines.
Strapless bras
Strapless Bras
Want great shape and support but without your straps on show? This is the style for you. Many strapless styles come with detachable multi-way straps so you can wear the bra as a halterneck, with a crossed back... the choice is yours.
Moulded bras
Moulded/Seam Free Bras
Seam free and moulded bras ensure a completely smooth line under sheer or loose fitting clothes. This makes them a staple for your wardrobe as seam free bras disappear under your clothes and you don’t get any lumps and bumps.
Half cup bras
Half Cup Bras
Similar to a balconette style, the wires on half cups come up mid-way between your boobs, but the cups are cut much lower, giving you less coverage and extra oomph! Perfect for giving you lift, but staying discreet under lower-cut tops.
Nursing bras
Nursing Bras
Nursing bras are soft cup bras, but have the feature of a clip at the top of the cup to allow for easy access to your boobs while breastfeeding.
Soft cup bras
Soft Cup Bras
Soft cup/wire-free bras are just that, bras but without the extra underwire support. Soft cups can be worn as an everyday bra, but can also be worn at night for extra support or during pregnancy, if you are looking for a little extra comfort.
Sport cup bras
Sports Bras
Sports bras are very high cut and full in the cup for total coverage. Because your boobs have no muscles in and cannot support themselves, sports bras compress your boobs close to your chest for maximum hold and minimum movement!
